A tender moment

I was looking for my daughters extra pair of glasses, seems I am the keeper of things like this, or they get lost.  I kept them tucked away in my top dresser drawer and even found my second pair.  Usually when I get an eye exam and need new glasses I hope to try and catch a two for deal.  That way I have a back up.  When I use to do child care in my home, this was a necessity let me tell you, sometimes those babies just ripped them right off my head!

I found some pictures of the girls I use to watch, I had them from the time they were about 6 weeks until last summer and they were five and six years old then.  I sure miss them so very much.  You know when taking care of little ones it is so very hard to not get attached.  I use to take them to preschool and I would take some pictures.  I have one of them standing by one of the most beautiful wall fountains I have ever seen, at the church where they use to go to preschool.  We would always go a few minutes early because the girls always enjoyed just standing near the fountain and listening to the water fall.  It was so soothing and relaxing to the ears.  It’s amazing how this one picture can bring back such a vivid happy memory.  I hope to see them again soon, I am going to try and get a hold of their mom this weekend and see what their plans are, maybe try and plan a day to go over and maybe take them to lunch!  I miss that too!!
