Always sad when someone panics

It’s always sad when I get emails from sites I am a member at when they are panicking because they log in to find their sites have been hacked and gone.  I often wonder how they work on their sites?  I do my best to do a back up weekly!  This way worst case is I lose a week of posts and not every one.  But when it comes to my site pages those I create on my computer in a html program then upload so I always have it.  Why do others not do the same?  Sure I might add a few things to my side bar so I lose just that and that is a simple fix for me.

Then I have seen others say oh that person is just telling a fib because they just don’t have an update or this or that.  Not necessarily the truth, there could simply be issues with the server and a simple fix too.  Just don’t panic and jump to conclusions.  This is how problems and drama starts.  But of course then those of us who speak up this way automatically are targeted with the drama.  I have learned to just sit back and be quiet and let what happens happens.  You try to be nice and supportive and it always 9 times out of 10 bites you in the behind.  You learn to pick and choose your battles.

Life is too precious and there are more things important to worry about.  But I feel sad for the person who is panicking just the same!
