Three things to remember during difficult times

During difficult times, there are three things to remember:

1.  During our times of suffering, God is near, even when it really seems he is so far away!

2.  God’s timing is perfect with his assistance, even when he appears to be catastrophically late!

3.  During our times of suffering, the most important thing for all of us to do is to keep our faith in God!

I found these notes in my bible from a lesson I learned and thought I would post to share them here on my blog.  I am always a “note taker” and sometimes when I need it most, I will find these notes and pause to reflect!!

I’m Thankful for….

I thought today I would post what I am thankful for and hope that maybe as folks visit my blog would want to join along!!

I am thankful for:  Life, Love and for God bring us Jesus!!  I am thankful for my good friends and that I have another holiday to spend with my father.

Simply pleasures are life’s treasures and I treasure each and every moment I can get with my family!!!!

A Thank you from Billy Graham

Awe, I just had to come in and blog, remember I told you about having the opportunity to wish Billy Graham a happy 90th Birthday??  Well I received an email with a Thank You!  Wow how awesome was that!  I have to tell you it was a wonderful thing to have come to my email box.  It has been a rough few days here at home, and sometimes I get annoyed with those spam emails and how refreshing it was to receive a kind work.  I would of loved to have seen his face with so many messages left for him!!  A memory to last a lifetime!!

Have you heard of Art Blessitt?

Have you heard of Art Blessitt?  I honestly have to tell you I didn’t, until this morning, and I just have to post about it.  Who is Art Blessitt?  Art Blessitt is the man who carried the cross around the world in every nation and is listed in the Guinness Book for the worlds longest walk.   He has carried the cross in 315 countries and over 38,000 miles, and is still walking!!  He first started carrying the cross in 1968 and started around the world Christmas, 1969, which was my “first Christmas” as I was born in October of that year.  Isn’t that simply amazing?

On November 7th, 2008, Billy Graham turned 90 years young! What a blessing he has been in my life! Did you wish Billy a Happy Birthday or leave him a message of how he has blessed your life?
