Truly Emotional

I somehow managed to hurt my neck/shoulder on the left side, so has spent quite a bit of time resting physically which has given me more time for reading as I continue my reading journey with The Cross.  Last night I was up very late, I could not put the book down!  I have shed many tears reading this book, especially in Chapter 9 which covers many of God’s Miracles that Arthur talks about.  Wow so moving and heart pounding moments, and as I read his words, visions come to my mind as if I can see that moment.  I have never felt something like this before!  I just have under 100 pages left to read, and this is one book that has really captured my heart!!

If I could wish for one thing

If I could wish for one thing, that I could have what would that be?  My answer was quick and simple, that my husband take me to church!  I wish as head of this house, he would wake up and take us to church!!  In the uncertain times like we are in, now more than ever we as a family need to go to church.  So that would be my wish for one thing.

Shopping for Watches

Shopping for a good quality watch at a great price doesn’t have to be a difficult process.  This is one advantage I think to being able to shop online, especially at Kenmar Watches.  One thing that I love about the site is the variety of brands that carry, such as Suunto watches.  They offer over 150 brands and there is 7000 designs to choose from, so your sure to find a style that is unique to the personality of the person you are shopping for!  Their site is easy to navigate, not only can you shop by the brand name, but by color and even a price range that you are looking to spend!  It can’t get any easier than that!  If your not comfortable using their shopping cart to check out, you can even contact them using their toll free number, or even email if you have any questions!  Honestly i had no idea there was so many brands of watches available until I visited their site, and there are a few pink watches I now have my eye on!!

Reading a gallery copy of The Cross!!

I wanted to post a quick post about a wonderful opportunity in being able to read a gallery copy of The Cross by Arthur Blessitt.  I have only read just a few short chapters and have to tell you what an emotional experience this has been for me so far.  Very powerful, beyond words.  I am very humbled.  I may post again as I continue to read.  Its quite a journey!!

She lost what?

My daughter is very lucky, her boyfriend is very generous.  He is really into video gaming, has every system out there I think, I kid you not, he collected them since he was little!!  He lets her borrow his systems so she can play some games after work or on her day off when he has to work.  Well, it appears she has lost a memory stick, and those puppies are not cheap!  She is really upset and crying and of course assumed I was the one to take it to some how teach her a lesson!  I use to find things then put them up until she ask for them, but honestly I didn’t find a memory stick anywhere.  I am afraid that it is very possible one of our cats may of got a hold of it, and if that is the case, she is just going to have to bite the bullet and purchase a new one to replace it!

A downside to online school

My son doesn’t attend traditional public school.  He attends school from home via the Internet through a charter school.  Its not really homeschooling since I am not the one teaching him.  He has 6 teachers and has classes each day that he attends.  A downside to this I find for him is not having textbooks.  He does have access to online versions of textbooks but not the actual book here at home.  I find this is difficult for him in the area of math.  Other subjects he is fine, but math seems to be the biggest struggle.  I think it would so much easier for the students to have a textbook in hand to refer back too!!

I can see he is going to be a trip!!

I can see my hubby is going to be a trip over the next few weeks with surfing the web and checking out sites with his upcoming resolution of going on a diet.  This morning I woke up to him emailing me links to sites to check out things like Lipovox for instance.  I have to tell you I have grave concerns and really feel he should talk to our family doctor first.  But being a typical man, who is not only stubborn but doesn’t go to the doctor unless he absolutely has too, I can only hope he tries a few things first like cutting back his calories and exercising more!!
