Friendships

As I am continue to read Surrender All by Joni Lamb, more and more I am convinced within my heart my daughter really needed to read this book to the end.  She gave up!  I think she quit reading it because it was stirring up something from within herself and she just didn’t want to deal with it right now.  Friends you make in high school, not all of them will remain friends.  She had a lot of drama in her life then, and a few she tried to remain friends with were not healthy friendships.  But she isn’t alone.  I have had friendships like this in my my own life.  I can’t sit here and claim otherwise you know?  What kind of mom or hypocrite would that make me?  But as you get older, you get wiser and you learn that in life people will come and go.  God will bring healthy friendships into your life and just because they are in your life at that moment doesn’t mean they will be for the rest of your life either.  This I know for a fact.

I so need to get a testimony of my life page created.  I have been through so much.  I have a story to tell.  I really do.  We all have a story to tell.  But I just am not sure if this, here at Simply My Treasures is the home to put it.  I am praying for direction on this one.
