Running from God

Yesterday I was sick, and in bed.  I mean I was very sick.  Today I am a better, I still have the aches and pains, but I never get to just lay in bed.  My hubby isn’t one for that.  He likes me out in the living room and since he controls the remote and I don’t, I don’t get to watch what I want.  But last night I was flipping channels and I found Charles Stanley on, and it was about running from God.  You know what, so many people waste so much of their lives running from God and its impossible.  He talked about the story of Jonah and I wished my daughter would of come in and watched it with me.  Just a few areas I think really would of touched her life.  I think the message touches all our lives, including mine.  Before it was over hubby came in to watch TV and wanted to know if he could change the channel, I said to him, its almost over and he sat a few minutes at the end.  I am grateful for the hour I got and glad I chose the program that I chose!

The message definitely hit home, we must obey God, and we can’t think we can ignore him and run from him, its just impossible.  I am going to be better at listening to his voice!!
