Two groundhogs, one shadow, go figure!

This morning I heard on the television that the groundhog here in Ohio didn’t see his shadow but the one in Pennsylvania did!  Go figure!  So does this mean early spring or some more of winter?  If you think about winter time natures rest, and if nature needs six more weeks to rest, then more snow to come.  Honestly the weather patterns have changed so  much over the years, you never know what to expect.  Some say in like a lion, out like a lamb.  so we shall see.  I know I am anxious for spring to come.  Winter is hard with being cooped up in the house.  I wish we had room for some fitness equipment, because if we did, I think I would love to have a treadmill.  Buy one of those huge wall posters of a beautiful outdoor kind of day, and hop on it and walk, and try to imagine myself outside walking.  Since our kitty has to loose some weight, I often wonder if he would walk on it too, or if it would scare him?  He is already down a few pounds since they put him on the Science Diet prescription food.  I sure hope his UTI has totally cleared up this time too.
