Wish we lived closer to Toledo

I got a pamphlet in the mail yesterday from Precept Ministries International with some upcoming Bible Study Training Workshops that are going  to be taking place in Toledo, Ohio July 16th-18th.  I like to attend the How to Study the Bible based on the inductive method, since I purchased the New Inductive Study Bible.

I have to be honest, when read my new Bible and try to study from it, since I have been reading from my Older Bible for so long, its a bit more confusing for me.  I find myself returning to my old one!  The inductive method uses a marking approach like with drawing symbols but then when you scratch through the words well, honestly makes it more difficult for me.

Maybe if I could attend one of the Workshops I would have a better understanding of this process??

I purchased it because I love the series of books by Kay Arthur and have gain so much from reading the ones I have read, I thought perhaps it would help me to understand the Word more.  But its kind of opposite of that.

So I am back to using my Old Bible and I feel where I should be for now.  I am not giving up on the other.  Just maybe some day if I am able to attend a workshop I would have a better understanding of the inductive approach and try again!
